Why is Graham Barrow so negative ?

The team chosen today showed clearly that Barrow thought we did not have a hope in hell of winning the game..Barrow chooses his super 6 in midfield that have scored around 4 goals between them IN TOTAL in last 2 months. This was Fylde actually who were below us in the league-not runaway league leaders or Liverpool.Has he twigged that he did not choose any of the 3 attackers he has signed in the last month-one actually got on as a sub.Do the board not think that raises concerns and questions to ask.So he did not think his signings were good enough to start this game.In the game Wright and Rutherford missed chances again as they have done all season-and in Rutherford's case last few years.
Barrow was happy enough to go for the draw today despite a 4 match no goals scored losing streak before today. Can anyone please explain how Barrow is the man to take us up to the Football league ? Answers on a postcard to the board please.
In any new job you usually have a three month probation period where you can be dispensed of for poor performance-food for thought for Board.

Good enough or fit enough?

From the squad we have available, I would revert to 4-4-2 and have this starting XI on Saturday:

------------------------Lainton

Carrington----Kennedy-----Pearson-----Jennings

Tollitt-----------Walker------Grant--------Rutherford

--------------Oswell----------Stockton

Our weakest area would be the 2 central midfielders; but who else is there?

Think he needs a break, having played too many games.

Any particular reason for starting Rutherford? One of the biggest parts of the problem of lack of goals, how many times does he get in good positions and ‘nearly’ scores or ‘nearly’ put a good cross in. He and many others get lauded around on here and social media but in reality not good enough for us, these players would be lucky to find another club in this league if they were to leave us.

Rutherford did have a lot of assists first half last season but in terms of goalscoring he is a 2/3 goal a season player. With our goal shy midfielders Rutherford cannot be accommodated in this team. Ricketts saw early season his limitations and preferred JMD who could actually score and had actual pace.Barriw chooses him every game regardless.

Ideally Rutherford would not start but, for all his limitations, he would add something to our midfield. Deverdics has been a very poor signing; Young is like Rutherford; Summerfield has deteriorated very badly; and Walker blows hot and cold.

We have focused on a lack of strikers, but our midfield has been piss poor for far too long.

GB's task is to get them playing, challenging and winning. I do not expect miracles - and would be happy to finish in 7th place, albeit we should really finish higher - but cannot accept more failure. The opportunity - despite all the gnashing of teeth - is still there if we get a grip of things. No more excuses here on in!
