Good servant , undeservedly frozen out recently
I was delighted that he stayed for another season. A very intelligent player who opens up space and links play. Not given a chance this season when, for the most part, our performances have cried out for this type of player. Shame that our coaching staff could not integrate his abilities into a squad that has had more passengers than drivers.

I agree his strengths seem to be wide in a front 3 and that’s where he scored most of his goals at Macc from so why he hasn’t been deployed there and given a run of games is beyond me ! Really starting to worry about recent decision making 🙈

If he was so good - or not so injury prone - he would have guaranteed himself a starting place.

Thanks for last season and, as his partner tweets, move on and start again.
Well said.

As for the football experience at board level remember how that worked out with Barry Horne?

Common sense should suggest giving Holroyd Fondop and Grant (seeing as he’s undroppable) a few games. Cannot be any worse than the others. If they don’t score they’ve done the same as the other toothless strikers we’ve got. Instead we get rid.

Whilst scoring goals is the aim, surely playing Oswell and Stockton together is the means.

Of the 3 you name, Grant is an attacking midfielder, so why not try him in the hole behind the strikers in a 4-4-2 formation?

Playing players in their natural position - it will never catch on. You don't see much success with that approach. Seems to me best to shoehorn 3 of your smallest players with poor scoring records into a front 3 and then keep a midfield 3 who apart from 1 player have struggled to score all season.

Add to that bring in a player that proves an option for 532 and then leave him out of the squad and also the left wing back that was MOM the previous game.

I may not have the football quals that GB and MN have but if it looks like a turd, smells like a turd and feels like a turd then my experience says it is a turd and a fkin big one.
