More Money for Salford

I have no clue about the youth team to be honest, But they seem to be in a decent league. are there any players that look good for the future?

From what I've seen of the U21 league over the last 2 seasons its full of talent that dropped out of pro youth systems at U18 or U16 and are now making in roads into the non league scene - Irlam won the league last year and had a few players who had real talent, Southport took over half their 21s into their 1st team last year at one point or another. Its a great system for late developers, my keeper for example left Bury at 16 and now at 6'3 2 years later is back attracting pro attention.

why are we bigging up a club that its only history and fame is that a few famous players
and a multi billionaire finance them with very large amounts of money.

At least we can say we are a club steeped in history and not someones play thing .

it proper grates me when people say we are jealous of them ,its them that is jealous of us for having a true football club with exceptional fans who in the clubs darkest hour stood up for the club they love.

how many of their clowns would do the same ,when the big-headed daddies leave .

I wouldn't put it like that, they have put together an interesting philosophy and good development pathway with junior into U18s into U21s so are attracting players from clubs who aren't doing it as well. Its simple really, they have a good product and it attracts. There spend is probably well below a Crewe only a league above, below other local competition like Wigan, Bolton etc but above the likes of Chester, Tranmere, Wrexham and Macc. However they sell it well and use the kudos of the class of 92 who all came through the youth ranks up the road from them.

Beckham has been involved since day 1, he's kept it at arm's length until his MLS franchise got sorted.

I doubt they'll have anymore money as it's been there from day 1.
