Re: this saturdays attendence
Yes probably be around 3,500 - 4,000 ish. Mainly season ticket holders and the odd few who go as and when they can due to work, where they live etc.
It will have a lot to do with the teams last 5 performances. Lose on Saturday GB has to go! |

Salford had a similar run of poor form in December - lost 4 games on the bounce or similar - don't recall any calls for Graham Alexander to be replaced. We have endured a massive loss of stability in the last 2 seasons with both Keates then Ricketts departing - at least we now have an old experienced head at the helm who should know how to stop the rot and turn the ship. The last 5 games have been difficult on paper - against top end opposition or teams very much in good form - on Saturday we should be expected to win especially at home - but will nerves set in especially if we concede first ? Attendance ? virtually nothing from the opposition and expecting a pleasant change from having to que for everything - playing infront of 8,000 on boxing day now seems like a lifetime ago. |

I think we will struggle for 4k but then again 1200 away on the back of 4 defeats is truly amazing. I am not sure how fans think GB will turn things round as his logic for last week was just baffling. He knows were not quite good enough in key areas, signs players to address the problem and then goes back to the players that were not good enough in the first place. Thats why he signed the new players and said so in interviews. Whilst were only 4 points behind were on the slippy part of the course and about to be swallowed up by the pack on the home turn and left in the wake during the run in. Momentum is everything - not quite sure who said that recently - and once again we have lost it at the key moment. We will then have a rip it up and start again in the close season. We have failed again in the Jan window, penny pinching and a failure to invest in the team. More bench warmers in a long line of them - maybe Drew can get us an extra long bench for the next few seasons. |

Re: this saturdays attendence
A really big game for lots of reasons. Every thread and post at the moment is about how crap we are, and yet when all is said and done we're 4 points from top place. Add to that the fact that every one of our promotion rivals plays in the FA Trophy next week, the next two games provide us with a real opportunity to get back on track. We'll do well to break 4,000 on Saturday, but the most important thing is we get 3 points.
3,879 will see a 1-0 win. |
