That shot of Roberts sums up how well Newell is working in training getting them to practice shooting! Wright can't pass has the balance of Gary Mills after 10 pints he can't stay on his feet Young did well when he came on and should keep his place but Barrow needs to get looking for a leader in midfield.

As far as ratings go Pyke, Pearson, Lawlor all above average.
Lainton not much too do but kicking still dodgy.
Jennings ok but still looking for the foul and lacks pace to be a wing back.
Walker improved 2nd half and better from Young.
Ruthers, Beavon ok but the rest below standard required and need to work in basics.

Oswell needs a run of games otherwise a waster signing.
What can be said about no Tollit or Kennedy - are wasting money. Same with Fondop and Deverdics as persona non gratia.

Big test Saturday for everyone.

I think Young picked up his 5th Yellow Card yesterday, so will be suspended for the trip to BW.

That's a massive blow with Summerfield getting injured. Grant may have to step up to the plate. This game will be huge in regards, of getting a run going again if not a big marker of being championship/top 3 contenders or play off hopefuls.
