Wasn't me that was told it. Tho it was someone I know and he's definitely not someone to lie about it. His words were someone at the club who works for the club said there is a rift in the changing rooms, down to the players not getting along with MN. The lad would have no reason to lie about it.

It does seem odd why Pearson has come out in press and said they've called a meeting in the week etc. Can't see the lad lying and I can't see why someone within the club would lie about it either. I'd rather it not be true. Just saying what I was told

I find it difficult to believe that someone who works for the club would spread damaging stories myself. Can't see any point in it what so ever.

Since Ricketts and Barrow have been in charge, the "leaks" seem to have dropped dramatically as evidenced by the lack of knowledge over transfers.
I suspect that the people who were "in the know" before the new regime have lost their contacts or those contacts are now not in the loop.
Flip side of that is you'll get weak rumours circulating.
If there is bad blood between players and management, no way would it be confined to a friend of a friend etc.
Things like that get backed up by players, family of players etc.

What is Pearson saying the players have had a meeting got anything to do with this absolute jackanory? Honestly mate this kind of thing is embarrassing.

Pearson called a meeting because we lost 4 league games on the bounce. Good captaincy. Hopefully a few honest words were put out there, but that's not a rift. The only ingredient in the mud pie being thrown at Newell is that one or two don't like the way he sits on the bench. Moaners will moan.
