Default Boreham Wood Chairman

A really good article and insight into how a club operates within its budget at National League level.

Take a look at Boreham Wood FC website NEWS to view an enjoyable read.

Can you imagine how a 'fans should manage their expectations' message from the trust would go down?

No bullshit communication with fans with no patronising spin or waffle. Refreshing.

Enjoyable read.

However it doesnt really cover the fact that the chairman is still bank rolling them. Yes they may not have a massive budget comparably, but it's still spending well beyond their means.

Especially when you consider their cheap season tickets.

Depends on what the board would set out as realistic expectations.

Remaining or just surviving in non league as an expectation would go down badly across the fan base.

Getting back to league football in the near future would be a realistic expectation I would hope.

Premier league in five years- Take the alcohol out of the board room quick.
