Default It could have been....

Well done Newport!

I know we were the better team in the first game at the Racecourse.

Some refereeing decisions may have got the better of us in the replay but they have done well.

Oh...what might have been..

Fine margins. The 5th May 2013. Christian Jolley...the man that could have been a Wrexham striker.

Newport have gone from strength to strength. They may recoup 2-2.5 million in prize money from the Football Association.

On a night when we have lost another manager, this maybe a post that it is difficult to take. But, we have to focus on the right man and team to get us promoted.

It just goes to show...

Come on...appoint the right team and man for the Job.

They’ve had a fantastic cup run yet are inconsistent in the league. Dont think Flynn had any mangagerial experience before Newport took a punt on a popular former player. It’s certainly worked out financially but if he’s not given a big chunk of it for recruitment I wonder how long he’ll hang around.

Wasn't Amond the striker that Keates refused to pay the agent fee for so the deal fell through?

Makes it all the more bizarre why Shrewsbury plumped for SR

I watched the replay - fair do's they were fabulous and out of the two team looked like the team from the Championship - no matter who the teams are I think there's always part of all of us that are rooting for the underdog. This was especially a fantastic result considering they have beaten Boro over two matches having played the first game away - not sure if the pitch was a leveller and could have helped their cause - it looked very heavy - perhaps the show pony's from the Championship are not used to playing on such surfaces.

A fantastic reward for them - a home tie v Manchester City in the next round.

And no doubt yet more TV monies to go alongside their FA winnings. With last year’s cup run added to this, building a nice fund for a real promotion push next season and beyond.
