Newell is assistant manager. Would've preferred GB to slot back into that role if it was possible, though.

Because then you have to get rid of Newell, and he'll need to be compensated due to being under contract. Barrow chose to step down, so it's a different set of rules to if we were to get rid of Newell in favour of Barrow as Assistant Manager.
