I doubt any prospective consortium would get very far anyway , it's easy to put the stoppers on any outsiders getting anywhere , it's obvious that present board members wouldn't allow it , this last episode tells you they are very insular and maybe insecure over any potential removal of their grip on the future of this club , it's theirs and ain't nobody going to change that .
Nail on head!!!!

Is it a coincidence that a prospective consortium appears when the club must have decent cash reserves ?

If a consortium came in I would want to see serious investment.

1. Sort out the kop
2. Put money into the youth setup
3. Give us a playing budget that would be competitive for League 2 let alone this level.

Don't want to be selling to anyone who isn't committed to that level of funding.
It sounds like there was no questions nor updates on this.

Surely it cant be the case this forum got more air time than the existance of mystery people looking to ‘invest’ ?!
yep thats right.

4. Get a manager that lasts more than 5 minutes
5. Invest in proven goalscorers

Nobody is going to come and provide the 4-6m required to construct a suitable kop stand. We're reliant on the FAW, local government or our own funding / borrowing for that one!

Promotion to league two will solve the funding for the youth set up. The COE funding at that level compared what we receive now (nothing) would transform the structure in a short period of time.

We have the means for a competitive budget for league two NOW but are working to a structure that means we allocate windfall payments and increase in revenue with an incredibly cautious approach. If anything, we would be more competitive in League Two due to FFP.

In the ideal world we could do with investors like at Salford, who have a plan, ambition to carry it out and be where Bournemouth are eventually and be committed to achieving it, in it's for the long haul.

If not that it would happen, an ambitious equivalent came forward to Wrexham they wouldn't even get airtime from the regime in control.

It was stated last night that we are funding the youth set up to the tune of £85k. If we were in L2 we would received £410K.

What figures are in 2018 accounts?
COE revenue versus costs?
