Re: Player ratings: Dagenham & Redbridge (H)
Lainton (6) Couple of important stops but let down by poor kicking.
Roberts (5) Steady but offers little going forward. Lawlor (7) Good game spoilt by a few crap passes. Pearson (7) Good game. Jennings (7) Good game and unlucky not to score. My MOTM. Young (7) Worked hard. Walker (6) Needs to impose himself more. Wright (6) Thought he played well in the first-half, then went awol for 25 minutes. Got himself into good scoring positions but lacks composure. Grant (4) Looked slow and contributed little. Looked better when he dropped deeper. Could be he’s just match rusty, but should be doing more. Stockton (5) Rather static but he hasn’t played much. Needs more game time. Tollitt (7) Again he’s not fully fit but he was the only player with pace and control to attack their defence. Hope we can extend his loan, for we will be poorer without him. Subs: Beavon (7) Our new super-sub. Rutherford (7) Upped the ante when we needed it. Carrington (N/A) Not on long enough. Should have been about 7-0 but for their keeper and Wright’s lack of composure! Nevertheless, an invaluable 3 points, with hopefully better to come!

Re: Player ratings: Dagenham & Redbridge (H)
Not at all.
We were lucky to keep a clean sheet and Jennings lucky a pen wasnt given. Wright was poor all round but deserves a few marks for getting into positions. Tollitt tired 2nd half but will benefit from the game. Midfield continues to be bypassed because they cant keep the ball. Grant for me is poor and Stockton no better than Fondop. Good use of subs from BH that won the game. |

Re: Player ratings: Dagenham & Redbridge (H)
Tollitt makes a difference, bit of pace and willing to run at defenders. Can't see what Grant offers I'm afraid, especially playing wide right. Beavon and Ruthers a big improvement on Stockton and Grant
Jennings, Pearson and Young MOM contenders - 7's Lawlor, Beavon, Rutherford, Tollitt -6's Lainton, Roberts, Walker - 5's Wright, Stockton, Grant - 4's A win is a win, 3pts, onwards and upwards! |
