I think you may need a nanna nap PD, you're coming out with some real head scratchers today.

Should BH play him wide right in a 442 then I don't see how we are able to "judge him better" seeing as he's a CM and he'd be playing out of position.

As for matching my IQ, well for me it doesn't need much thinking or logic on this subject to know that playing players out of position rarely works. The last 10 years or so must have passed you by.

Add to that I've watched Akil play for a few seasons now and never have I or anyone around me at games said "Wright needs to be played wide to fulfil his potential" or "Why is Keates/Ricketts/Barrow playing Wright out of position in CM".

P.s. Those three managers never once did as you propose either, so they must have an IQ similar to mine.

Looks like one of PDs famous mental lineups. Hes known for thinking players can play anywhere.

Philip. I wouldn't have him in the first team tbh.

I think you're seeing things you want to see aren't you Phil? He can't pass wind or hit a barn door but the lad can break forward and take a player on.

Me seeing things?!
He can run with the ball but taking players on? can't say I've seen much of that at all. Tollit takes players on. JMD took players on. He's like neither.

Ok lets roll with he breaks forward, takes a player on in a wide position but in your words can't pass wind or hit a barn door, then what?

Sorry mate, just don't see that at all.

Hes never going to be a rolls royce in midfield but hes there to break up play and add a bit of muscle which we lack

He doesn't break up play though - too often out of position, too often the game passes him by and too easily brushed off the ball for a big lad. His strength is breaking forward into the gaps.

Ok, he can run into space! He's screwed if there's a decent fullback in front of him! Just play ruthers on the right and tollit down the left!

Agree with that PAGL. By the way we've been looking for tall strikers - Phil's striking duo might do the job!!

Because we only have one genuine winger: Tollitt.

And, at the moment, he's off after Saturday!

I am sure Flynn will see sense, if he returns!
