It is a lot to comment on but lets take the first paragraph

"The consensus being that we are asset free and there is nothing to actually invest in."

There is quite literally a WST Assets Ltd https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/company/09569619

From 12th Jan:

If there is a 'consensus' we are asset free there has been a huge communication cock up and I go back to the question of how to engage fans again.

I'm not sure that's true. Giving barrow a 2.5 year contract is separate to compensation received for managers who have left.

Of course.

But how would you be able to judge/know whether they are good guys or bad guys?

That’s the whole crux of the debate.

Not sure what you mean.
Had Keates or Ricketts not been on a contract we wouldn’t have got compensation when they left.
Barrow quit, as it happens so cost us nothing. Had he been successful and got poached we would have got compo for him too.

Absolutely. They would need to persuade the members. If they cant, then no dice.

Sorry for being slow, but the supporters own the club so the potential buyer must show his or her hand before the supporters make a choice.
With the sale of the club the owners can and should have stipulations in the contract. Ground purchase (what they can and cant do with it), cash flow, profits, targets etc.
There is always two sides to a deal, we have learnt from a rocky past, lets not fall into the same trap, use the experience to put in gates and hurdles to ensure the purchasers have the club at heart not their wallet.
Or just don't sell.

This latest "consortium" surfaced back in September last year according to Bryn Law. 4 months on and the lack of meeting and signing certain agreements it surfaces and causes a major s##t storm.

So how do we move forward, or are you happy with the current set up?

Looks like this consortium are afraid to lose 5k so obviously we should welcome them with open arms! Champions League here we come!
