The Redrobinman rules mean that at the next meeting you have to say this to the club board. A fans forum isn't the place for debate, discussion, praise and criticism. How dare you.

What I do find strange is when I read long posts like yours just now, that basically slag off many posters on here and the forum in general. If you disagree with as much as you say you do then why are you still here?

Its like hating a local pub and most people that drink in there yet you still go in there everyday and moan about it all.
I don’t mind either. I thought it was an opinions board? Not all posters share my views...or your views. Some may share some, few may share them all.

Using your pub analogy......if I liked the beer in a certain pub, but disagreed with the politics (for example) of a certain section of the clientele, I would stay away from their company and socialise with my mates, in another room or area and enjoy consuming the beer that I really like. Unfortunately, that’s difficult on a messageboard and it would kind of become one sided, and er not be an opinions board.
In any event, there are posters on here whose views I generally agree with or respect.

No, read the rules again.
He can ask someone else on this messageboard to ask the question.

You need to know the unwritten rules...here are some:

You can’t comment on the abilities of players, unless you’ve seen them play in person at the Racecourse. Video of players contributions in games don’t count. Unless it’s an away game and you didn’t go, then you may do so, because you can attend home games.

You can however, form very strong opinions at other goings on at the Club, based upon whatever rumours certain other people post up as gospel truth, without evidence, as long as it fits with your own bias. It’s an opinions board after all.

Every time we lose, it’s because the Board won’t spend money on quality players, Managers, coaches etc.

Opponents of the Ownership model are frothers.
Proponents are Happy Clappers.

Know that we need to sign an experienced Assistant Manager so that we can, if we hit a bad run of form, create a multi-page thread questioning what the devil he does, and how much he costs, concluding the money has been wasted.

Substitute Coach, for Assistant Manager in the above rule.

Know that it is obvious that if we signed one or more quality strikers who will score 20+ goals a season, it would make all the difference. These people can see it, why can’t the Manager, Board or Happy Cappers?

Every time we win, we’re papering over the cracks.

The Board should make every bit of information known to the fans (cash available for transfers, players wages, amount of payoffs, who we’re negotiating with for jobs at the Club, etc).

The fact that some of the fans calling for the type of information in the above rule to be available (and for change, outside investment etc), are self confessed Non members of the WST, and thus not part owners, it is acceptable that they believe they should be privy to this kind of information, nevertheless.

When the Club call a meeting, you are not obliged to attend in order to ask for answers. You may however post on here asking others to do so for you.
If your questions aren’t asked, because you weren’t there to do so, it’s because the meeting was populated by ‘nodding dogs’ and stooges of the Board.

As a fan owned Club we are going nowhere.

We should invest significantly more into our Youth policy, even if that means that Clubs from higher up the pyramid can come along and sign up at minimal or no cost or compensation, young talent that we may have invested years in developing.

Wright and Rutherford are crap. Roberts doesn’t cross the halfway line. However his crosses into the box from wide positions are poor.

There are others rules, but I’ll let you digest the above for now.
Most of the rules you've written in jest are actually true to some extent, but the one I've highlighted should read 'We've been going nowhere under fan ownership' - In the context of success on the football pitch, that's true, well we've been going backwards actually. Lets hope this changes this season.

One of the reasons, like you've pointed out sarcastically, is because we haven't invested enough money into the team, and it is fairly obvious we need a 20 + plus striker, with one we'd be running away with it, management know this but can't afford to bring the quality in it seems. Either this or they're bloody idiots.

Thanks for acknowledging the tongue in cheek nature of my post.
I agree with your comment about going nowhere on the pitch....as yet.
Comes back to living within our means really. Clubs financed from the outside can take a punt on a big signing, wages funded for a period by a rich Beckham....I mean benefactor. If it doesn’t work out, no worries.

I don’t think all of our recent Managers, who had fairly lenghty and successful playing careers have all been bloody idiots in that respect and unable to see what you see, so it must be finance.

You're not the only one, tongue in cheek but sharing the thoughts of many

As Phil says it's a forum where opinions are expressed, sometimes they differ but I'm sure we all share the common purpose of supporting our team.

This must be a joke. Your account has been hacked.
The only poster that critics everyone but offers no opinion. Blah!
