Secondly whatever he has or hasn't done the football last season and for much of this season has been dire, you can't just blame the manager if CD has as big a input as you say he does.
Like I said when I see it in games then praise will come for CD and the others.

Basically what you are saying is that everything good about the team is because of CD but everything bad is nothing to do with him. And I don't buy that at all.
It is not hearsay that is his role which he describes in depth in the Dragonheart podcast.

We can see it in games? He is asked to coach us to play a specific way and we play that way very well.

Clearly I haven’t said everything good is down to CD I just don’t get the need to turn on people without the necessary facts. I have a friend who is a very well respected coach in welsh football, all coaches respect Cd as a top level coach, we only have him here as he is a Wrexham fan

Don't buy into your quote either.
The manager dictates the way we play and his staff operate under his instruction.. After all it's his head on the block.
Don't think CD deserves flack for the defensive nature of the side that was down to Keates recruitment. Even midfield was selected with defence as a primary concern. Thus we had no real service to any one who had the misfortune to be in the front 2 or 3 or in solitary confinement (The oppositions half)
The style of play on Saturday was very encouraging even in a profitless first half. Quicker passing of the ball, more movement and full backs overlapping into the corners. Good to watch and we got our reward in the second half.
The coaches can only do so much given the players we've got but the manager must be making some of the right noises and we are starting to play without fear. Hope it continues.

No one will convince me that one session per week will ever be enough, nor will I buy into the hype that protects and surrounds him without seeing actual tangible results, for example players improving and progressing, something we've not seen in years here. Plus football has been dreadful, you can't just excuse the coach from this. Its not all his fault but he's part of it.

Every coach would do much of the above so not sure what this proves and a lot is assumption not fact as some seem to have jumped on that bandwagon already.
What we can judge him on and the rest of the coaching staff is what we see on the pitch.

"What we can judge him on and the rest of the coaching staff is what we see on the pitch"

Yep. We see a team 2 points off the top. What is the problem? What is your problem? Don't you want us to go up unless the team is playing a style of football that meets with your approval?

Under Keates in particular it was dreadful. Some of the games I went to I started to question why I was bothering it was that bad. Ricketts improved on that but still largely dreadful to watch.
Solihull have a style of play that works and taken them to the top. I think its fair to say we should expect better here given the size of both clubs.

"Solihull have a style of play that works and taken them to the top."

We have a style of play that has put us 2 points behind them with a game in hand.

Yet you praise them and criticise us (ad nauseum).

You can't have it both ways, CD getting all the credit for the good work but gets let off for the teams failings? No chance.
He does not get any hype though. And neither does he seek it. For you, he's just another whipping boy.
