Boreham Wood Away Tuesday
Having spoken to and taken advice from various bodies, including the safety advisory group, our safety officer, our chief steward and the Herts Constabulary police, Boreham Wood’s match day arrangements and policies for the fixture against AFC Wrexham on Tuesday, February 19 (7.45pm) are as follows. Tuesday’s match against AFC Wrexham will be segregated and the bar will operate on a home supporters only basis. Having sought advice from experts and experienced members of the league, Boreham Wood believe that segregation is the best and safest way to operate on Tuesday. WE RESPECTFULLY REMIND SUPPORTERS A) Tuesday’s home match will be segregated. B) Home supporters are reminded that entry to their allocated home seating and terracing areas, will be via the club’s car park located in Broughinge Road. However, due to the limited space, parking in the club’s car park on a match day, will only be available to players, match officials, visiting directors and the club’s match day staff. C) We respectfully remind all supporters that the adjoining Brook Road car park, is a large council owned car park. It has ample parking for most games and is the nearest public car park to our Meadow Park ground. D) We respectfully remind all supporters that our club bar, is a strictly home supporters only premises and that no away supporters will be allowed access on Tuesday. We thank you all for your co-operation in advance and continue to look forward to welcoming fans from all over the country to Meadow Park. Re: Boreham Wood Away Tuesday
If it had been a Saturday game we might of taken a few more fans down the there, but even so them rules seem over the top.

Re: Boreham Wood Away Tuesday
Self important tinpot club run by arrogant pr*c*s who can get away with it because of all the money they get in from Arsenal. Offer very few concessions, charge media organisations (e.g. local radio) to broadcast, well known in N/NW London football scene for poaching players etc, won't let away fans in the club bar etc. etc.
Was delighted when Tranmere beat them in the p/off final last season. You won't get into the bar though in my experience; when they say home only they mean home only and as they have next to no fans they'll know all the home fans pretty much by name; we've tried in past and no chance. Contrast to say Havant on Saturday (and most places) who were happy to have us in after the game; barstaff, stewards and fans all perfectly fine. Really hope we beat these lot.
