It's shocking isn't it. The cynic in me says it's deliberate so fans go to the ground earlier and spend their money on overpriced beer and food there. We had a good few beers in a pub nearby though with the added bonus of Psycho being there too.

Area around the Stadium has been developed hugely since we last played there (the North Ferriby fiasco). Hopefully we won't be back in May but you never know. Massive designer outlet village though now, plenty of mid-top end hotels and huge amounts of trendy apartments gone up or going up.

So more options now if we do end up back there, but sadly the options are all pretty overpriced!

Was a superb day. Possibly the coldest I've ever been at a game though! Should also add all the Grimsby fans we saw over that weekend were decent and a credit to there club as well; it was in many ways almost a friendly final or as close to that as you'll get in football.
