Could Wrexham benefit...

......from Coventry City's problems?

They are experiencing difficulties in securing a home Venue for next season. If not resolved it could see them kicked out of the league leading to the possibility of an extra promotion place from the NL (I can't see that happening, I think the EFL would decide to relegate one fewer team from L2).

Not sure how I would feel if it did happen and we were to benefit from another clubs hardship.
More reason to go out and win the league.

Me thinking this was a thread offering help to a fellow club by offering to rent the ground to the Sky Blues.
How wrong could I be.

I am sure there was talk around 18months ago of them trying to share with Coventry rugby league club . the capacity is around 4.5k and would have to spent a load of cash to bring it up to league standard.I am sure the guy who I spoke to said coventry had around 5k season ticket holders .failing that ,they will be back to Northampton

It would be one less relegation spot not an extra promotion spot.

Hope Coventry don't get kicked out of the league myself .

I think that travel costs and a lot of attendances in L2 mean a L2 north and south is more viable for the majority of teams.
The NL dont want it though given the ‘graveyard’ of ex league teams down here now.

This is our biggest chance.

Without a doubt, that a the usual outcome, never mind the FL clubs will look after themselves. It could conclude the great escape for Sol Cambell at Macc, but I can't see Coventry not surviving.
