These two were superb yesterday, can anyone on here imagine we could be so strong defensively without Pearson and Smith.

Great to see. Pearson seemed to be limping quite badly yesterday (twitter video), surprised he travelled at all.

But someone switched off for their goal. Need to see it again as it happened very fast.

Lawlor’s distribution was also very poor yesterday.

Still recovering from surgery after his injury relapse. Probably won't see him again this season... or at all.

Yes, they did OK.
Lawlor as reliable as most games.
Kennedy OK, will have to watch a bit more before raving.

I have to say we haven't missed Manny because of Lawlor. Salford either have fantastic CB's or they cocked up on that one.

As for Kennedy, I haven't seen him play but been impressed by the comments from fans who have and the commentators. However, I would still prefer a fully fit Pearson in there obviously.

Kennedy was good on Saturday but not a leader like Pearson. Excellent cover and push g fir regular first team spot. Seems more of a footballer than Lawler.
