Default Lainton's injury

Any news on how long Rob is likely to be out?
It's great that we have CHristian Dibble as a very capable back up but let's be honest Lainton has been outstanding all season.

I think his injury is minor and should be back into contention for chesterfield. Not many people know that Dibble was suppose to be first choice keeper at the beginning of the season. He was the only player to come back from pre season over weight and as punishment he was dropped to the bench

Dibble had possession of the jersey for the first few friendlies and if memory serves me right he picked up a knock before another friendly and Lainton was promoted?

He’s been outstanding this season, player of the year contender

I'd remove 'contender' from that. How many points did he single handedly save us in the first 10 games? The ammount of great saves he's made all season has put us where we are today. Most recently you look at Havant, tipping Quigley's last minute effort onto the post...I'd say best keeper we've had in the conference.

Think the best one since Maxwell really...not quite Foster or Marriott but up there. My biggest fear if we don't go up is keeping him next season.

I liked Bachman but he was so injury prone when here. Lainton's consistency has been first class.

Feel sorry for Dibble - good keeper, I liked the look of him, but never really had his chance and a bit of an insult being kept out by the likes of Dunn who lets be honest was a shitehawk
