As ever, it all depends at what point fans arrive at the turnstiles - if the majority arrive nearer to the kick off then there is bound to be congestion.

Any other reason why there were 'massive queues ?

Usual story - a warm and sunny Spring day so everybody got on the beers and arrived about 10-15 mins before kick off. If memory serves there were only one or two turnstiles open and they were slow.

We got lucky and used a Wrexham FC staff pass to persuade a steward to open up a side gate and be let in.

In retrospect we should have stayed in the pub.

We didn't have any issues if I remember. Bit of a shambles in the actual away end amongst the fans though!

We got there over 20 minutes before kick off and missed the start; I wouldn't class getting to a none league game 20mins before kick off as being something that should create the problems it did at Orient last year.

They only had a couple of turnstiles open, they were getting people through the turnstiles very slowly and were searching a lot of people in the queue (in fairness there were a few faces out that day so that made some sense).

But people in the queue 20-30mins pre kick off missed the start; not those (and I've done this in the past happily admit that) turning up at 2.58pm, so just bear in mind for this year.

Exactly.

There were a lot of Burberry clad fans from both sides in The Birkbeck Tavern before the game. Orient on one side of the beer garden and Wrexham at the other (usual suspects out in force that day). Beer awful. We left before it kicked off.

Leyton Technical was closer to the ground and a much better option.

Didn't stop long enough to use the bogs!!!

Took ages to get to the bar, and when you finally got served the beer was awful. Left half of it and went to the Technical https://www.timeout.com/london/bars-...yton-technical
