So if we laid one of these pitches we could train on it and save ourselves a fortune building a new training ground then? rent it out too? food for thought that.

And how much does that cost to install and maintain?
Swansea have recently been a Premier League club (and were for years) and are still receiving millions a season in parachute payments. Against a National League club.
That's not a good example of how it could work at Wrexham unless its cheaper than a standard pitch.
Edit: It cost £250,000 for the Wembley pitch. Arsenal have it too. Its not something a NL club can afford.

If they'd fund the Kop development as well we'd be sitting pretty.

There was talk of trying to combine Cardiff Blues and the Ospreys but that has been discarded.

As for people who follow rugby not knowing the rules that could be said of a lot of the match officials at National League level let alone spectators!

Not sure I believe it as ospreys have had the most success. Almost certainly be at colwyn bay and eirias park due to amount wru have invested so far. Shame, it would be here as crowds would be bigger. I believe Cardiff had a combination of natural and synthetic grass that dealt better with rugby back when they both shared the Cardiff city stadium.
Ospreys were very close to going out of business in the last month or so but I believe a solution has been found. That probably where this rumour has come from

Despite the obvious issues about pitches (look at Newport) it could be lucrative and the investment we could be looking for as at a minimum the costs of sharing the ground would be halved.
Crusaders RL managed it for a time, could this be an opportunity?

I love both games, and are just thinking of how we increase cash.
In a word.....NO

I would love a under 21 game at the Racecourse. I'm not sure of the attendance they get are Colwyn Bay but there would be far more hear for sure.
How could enyone not get excited about last Saturday's game it was epic. I used to go down there often but the cost to get in and the hotel prices were just beond me.

Before Phil loses his shit, there’s been talk of this for years. It’s incredibly unlikely they’ll dilute the game in South Wales.

Regardless, there’s no desire for a regional team in north wales. If such a team achieved greater attendances than Wrexham AFC, I’d be surprised.
