Football and rugby (both codes) are great sports, with plenty of following up here. Due to the messy nature of rugby, the pitches always get chewed up. And as footy is generally played on the deck, it’s crucial we get as smooth a surface as possible. So playing these sports on the same pitch is incompatible.
I would love to see more, decent rugby union in North Wales, but please not on my pitch at Cae Ras.

Whilst I enjoy watching Rugby, I don't want to see it at the Racecourse.

Yeah, that). Thirdly, that the deal wouldn’t be likely to involve thirty blokes smashing the turf to pieces 15 times a year and walking away, but would have to involve rather more care. Those things would make it happen and make it a positive thing to happen. But you don’t have to worry about that, it’ll be based at Eirias Park.
those things mean diddly squat if it has a negative impact on the main product.

As addressed with point three. And more conclusively dealt with by the fact that it’s not happening at the Racecourse.

Personally, if, and it's a big if, there was a North Wales region created, I can't see it being based anywhere but Colwyn Bay.

Although, would pitch fears at the Racecourse be allayed if the Welsh Rugby Union were to invest in a new pitch as they have done at Rodney Parade, Newport?
Here they spent a reported £750,000 putting in a new Desso playmaster pitch, which is similar to the pitch at Principality Stadium and to the surfaces at Liberty Stadium and Cardiff City Stadium, all stadiums that host both football and rugby union.

The W.R.U invested in a new pitch because they are the owners of Rodney Parade.

Nevertheless, Newport County were forced to contribute 1/3 of the cost (£250,000).

Couldn’t they share it between Colwyn Bay and Wrexham? With maybe a few games being staged at the Racecourse?
