Yes, but last August would you have for seen us being on our third management team, with Brian Flynn back as assistant? Even by football standards, things have gone up and down very quickly. Im genuinely excited where we are, hence im paying €200 to get to the game on Saturday from Ireland, just don't want to get ahead of ourselves.

I suppose what i am asking is, there might be 10.700 available seats in the stadium, but are we actually allowed to use them all if there is a demand?

Hope that makes sense!
Apart from a couple of hundred next to the away supporters every seat is available, we've just never needed 10,000 odd seats.

If 10,000 turn up, 10,000 will get in.

This man does not represent the club. If 10,000 turn up, then around 2,200 of them will unfortunately be left outside.

Neither do you......and you're wrong.

Let's see if 2,200 are locked out against Harrogate should we hopefully win the title

The SAG would shit their pants if there were that many in the ground. NWP would cancel all leave and call in Scotland Yard in case any naughty fans drink alcohol within view of the pitch.

Just to be clear and to dispel the bull, the club has said on a number of occasions as recently as earlier this season that sections of seating WILL be opened as and when there is demand for it as happened against Salford for example.

There is no point paying for extra stewarding to open sections (lower GUS for example) for a hundred or so to sit in there when the ground is half empty as it is most games.

Makes perfect sense to utilise the stadium in this way IMHO

Putting out scare stories of 2,200 being locked out with big sections of empty seating inside is just ridiculous

Who's putting out scare stories out of interest?

Although whether the safety group would allow home fans in the lower GUS and away fans in the paddock at the same time without netting is debatable.

What happened to our safety regulations 12 years ago when we played Boston, yellow designated areas at the bottom of the kop and the kop segregated into three areas with stewards patrolling,it was like that for many seasons then the Boston game you could stand where you wanted.
