Nice to hear I liked him but his worst signing for me was his assistant Gary "the ladderman" Mills.

With somebody like Barrow or Flynn alongside I think both him and the club would have progressed.

Nice chap but the fact we've had even worse managers since gives rise to some very rose tinted glasses. Playing Bishop over Moult and the Dan Holman facing the wrong way comments cant be overlooked and don't even get me started on North Ferriby. Wish him well but was the right decision to get rid.

KW dropped Moult though for attending his child’s birth. How many games before he got back in?

His lack of leadership in FAT ultimately cost him but we made a huge mistake allowing him to appoint Mills instead of Keats.

In all fairness though his signings were far more hit than miss.

Usually a manager appoints his own No. 2 or at least has to agree to it.

He didnt have one and we had an up and coming potential.
It made no sense to me. Mills even said he wasnt an assistant!!

You could have had anyone as his assistant and he would have still failed here. Out of his depth at this level back then but some potential I’d agree.
