Could have done with Denton upfront just so we have a big guy up top, our forward line is weak as piss. 1 shot on target 1 goal and a win. Very fine margins indeed!

Next week is huge. A win next week against a team we played off the park, but couldn’t hit the net at home and we are well in the mix. Every game is a cup final from now until the end of the season. With teams around us winning today, and Solihull 3 nil up, we have to keep grinding out the results.

Not a good performance but a big 3 points.
Goal from nowhere really but thankfully it was Young that provided it as Rutherford was ineffective most of the game as was Tollitt.

We will need to be better next week.

I predicted a 1-0. An uninspiring game in front of a big crowd, Neither side have got that killer instinct but at least we took our only real chance well with a good build up. Most of the game was lump football, When we keep the ball on the ground we look impressive.Three points so grateful for that, I think we just about deserved it.

We simply have to raise our game next week by 40 percent from today , we played some ok stuff but the ball in the final third was a worry where the goal was coming from, crowd was brill when we got going but less than 3 points next week might b a disaster if we are to b champions we need to throw the kitchen sink at them.

Another team of 6 foot 6 bullies. We would not have won that in previous seasons but there is a gritty determination to grind it out these days and that will get us over the line if we continue. Well done lads.
