It’s so good to be up there challenging again - especially after last years farse

He last appeared on 19 February in a home 3 - 4 defeat v Wimbledon - withdrawn after 80 minutes.

Rochdale are 5 points away from safety - their manager Keith Hill is long serving and regarded as Dale's most successful manager - he had a spell with us as a player at centre half back in the days of Hector Sam & Co - certainly I can recall him playing for us in an away 2 - 3 win at Wigan.

New manager, new broom - could Pyke return as Tollitt's replacement ? never say no - although didn't he have hamstring injuries when with us ?

I seem to remember Keith Hill being Denis Smith's first signing.

Rochdale twitter made a mistake thinking that he scored but they corrected it later on to the actual goalscorer.

rochdale i remember them going well in the 80s, and being in the kop and taking the back, i cant remember anyone else doing it , mind you our gates were 1300s or so
