Got to be the strangest move in recent months. Pyke leaves us after playing regular football to not even getting in Dales match squad. Must do wonders for a players confidence. No wonder Huddersfield on the way back down with decisions like that. Now Dales manager sacked at least Pyke will feel at home. Has anyone heard why this occurred.

I thought he scored on his debut but can't see anything on BBC. He has played in all games except their most recent one I believe. Might be injured again?
