Which league we are in is a huge factor but we still have to address the fundamentals
CM is going to be interesting as we need to replace 2 for sure and continue with Wright.
Complete forward line revamp regardless and then the 2 FBs.
JJ stil prob good enough for another season in NL as long as he concentrates on his game and not histrionics. Not sure at RB but Carra as utility can be cover.

Flynnie's the old head and he'll be telling Hughes to hold fire on anything like that until we know which division we're in.

We're stuck with a couple who probably won't cut it in League 2 already so we don't want any more.

Lainton is the only one nailed on but if you offer him now the others are banging on the door.

Best to keep everyone hungry for the run in IMHO

Lainton should be retained asap, the rest I am happy to wait and review where we are. If we go up we need to be quite brutal in who we release, if we stay down theres more I'd keep.

Keep them hungry but then also letting them and their agents touting them about which can unsettle players if minds wonder elsewhere for money or whatever.

Quite right too!

Bernard Hill played the character of Yosser Hughes in the 1982 tv series Boys from the Black Stuff, as well as in the 1980 play The Black Stuff from which the series sprang.

I doubt that Bryan Hughes asked us to "Gizza job - I can do that" before being appointed manager...
