Don't get me wrong we have done really well since Hughes came in, but something has to change going forward.

The final third of our team really was aweful today, against a less than convincing defence. We've scraped a lot of points recently, but we had so little go forward today it was quite embarrassing.

Akil Wright was bloody awful, as he is most weeks. National league north/south is his level. He got forward a lot, but simply isn’t good enough. Young put some testing crosses into the box first half but our forwards get nowhere near them. Rutherford barely touched the ball first half yet will get a standard 7 in the ratings thread.

Not a good result and Walker going off disrupted our plan. That's our toughest match of the run in done. The same can't be said of some of the other contenders, though Solihull seem to have the easiest on paper......

agree think the league has gone now , just amazing how we have kept up in the top 3/4 for so long with a pretty poor team , playoffs now and we will lose in them

Its all because there were no forwards available in January

The better, more inventive team won, a huge blow but nowhere near a knockout blow. There will be a few more twists with top teams playing each other, but we need to bounce back Tuesday to keep us in contention.

Hopefully, Walker isn't too badly hurt and both he and Summerfield are back soon. Kennedy didn't look great at right back so we need Roberts and Carra back to full fitness too for the run in.
