We got what we deserved. Even by our own lowly standards, as an attacking effort with a view to scoring a goal that was shocking, bordering on anti football at times.

3 shite forwards on the bench and a 34 year old striker on the pitch who doesn't score goals is one of the main reasons why we don't look like a title winning team. No creativity or pace in the team coupled with our negative style means we will always struggle against the top teams in this league which is why we won't be favourites for the playoffs either.

Old ground but do not score goals when Beavon, Rutherford and Grant all play. Hughes unfortunately inherited them but at least latter 2 not contracted for next season. Retrospect easy but surely Oswell would have been a better substitute than Grant with Rutherford going into midfield. Hopefully Hughes has seen today what Grant is all(or not) about.
Not likely but if McGlashan can replace Rutherford need another new face to replace Tollitt when leaves soon.
Orient had Simpson, we had Rutherford. Sums it up unfortunately.
I questioned paying fee for Grant when only deal until end of season - glad now as totally unsuited for us. Worst signing for years which certainly contributed to our defeat today.

They were there to be got at in that first half, they looked shaky. Grant is one of the biggest waste of spaces I’ve seen play for us.

Jennings was our best player once again I thought.

Same old story, no quality to make the difference. Still no goals against good teams away.
