FWIW I thought it was Kennedy who had the real shocker (he’s played well for us so far) and I’m definiteky sponsoring a game next season as it must be some good sup in those boxes to pick him as man of the match.

The problem for Roberts was that he has spent all season relying on Rutherford to perform a hard working defensive role on that side. Tonight that wasnt there.
Rutherford should never have been dropped . He is an asset to any team game.

Agree - Pearson is the only leader and him and Walker were a massive loss.

But then there were many more problems - far too many changes.

Roberts comes in at left back having not played for weeks, in a new formation with a winger infront of us who has never played for us previously and perhaps hasn't played for anybody for a long time.

On top of that our midfield is very poor and has been for months - in comparison Barrow looked a well drilled sleak outfit who passed the ball about extremely well and were much quicker to the ball especially first half - they played with confidence - we seemed to play with fear and confusion and the same problem keeps reoccurring - when we gain possession far too frequently nobody seems to want to run into a space and give the man on the ball an option - it's basically hit and hope.
