This. We havent played any good football since hes been around. Yet he seems to get a say in managerial appointments and is seen as some sort of coaching guru. What other club in football does the coach have that kind of power

FT professional players and management led by a bunch of amateurs on the WAFC board with no real leadership when it’s needed. Another failed January window backed by the usual suspects with the same old excuses yet the money was there but was wasted in the mire of the management fiasco and cover up.

BH and BF will need to stamp their mark on things but after tonight’s ineptitude I just wonder if anyone can see or address the basic problems we have.
Our recruitment policy is poor as is the spine of the team yet again. We need 2 CM and 2 forwards that we can build on with Pearson and Lawlor. Get the leaders sorted and then a couple of loans to supplement the quality. It’s not rocket science really.

Sad thing is if we fail to reach the play offs it’s more cash down the drain.
Sad to say Pagl; but you and most of the rest of us are wasting our time.

Darlington's influence is a bit worrying really , remember the Bangor city friendly , doing his mate a favour , board took no notice of fans concerns .

Its nothing to do with the coach though. That's what I've been told continually.
Its all the managers fault. It can't possibly have anything to do with Darlington, the coach who is responsible for developing players and helping tactically.
I'm just amazed we've kept from Pep's clutches as he's that good.
At most clubs who experience failure the manager isn't the only one who pays the price, not here.

Conclusion from tonight is that we will be lucky to make the play offs and if we do we will lose!

Hope last night was a 'one-off'.

I dont think it was. With the players we currently have available it will not be a one off I suspect.

How many clever cushioned headers landed at their feet? I was laughed at the other day for saying we need a whole new midfield and forward line and last night proved it, we should be dominating possession in these games and I don’t think we strung 1 pass together. I don’t know what influence Flynn has had on this side but it’s clearly not a positive one but atleast he used his contacts to bring the worst loan player I have seen at the club in.

I have never laughed at you about the midfield and forward line I've been saying the same for the majority of the last 2 seasons and many more fans have to.

The trouble is we are are a team of short arses in a league of giants, last night demonstrated how weak our players are Tollit I'm surprised the wind didn't blow himself over like the new lad.

Wright who looks big is a clumsy oaf who can't pass tackle and stay on his feet, without Walker for the rest of the season then the defence is exposed Lawlor his worst game of the season last night we missed Pearson but I still think they would of beat us.

Upfront allowing Barrow to waste money on a player who wasn't good enough for Morecambe and s statue from Tranmere who's own fans slag him off as being lazy says it all.

I still think resignations are needed from the top over the managerial farce since Ricketts jumped off the sinking ship.

I have waited until today to think about conclusions.

My conclusion today is that it was a really really poor night for the management team. The players started the game looking nervous, not determined, a management failure. Playing 4-4-2 failed miserably and was a management failure. Playing the two strikers up front with the smallest likelihood of scoring was a management failure.

If the claim is made that the formation change was forced due to injuries, that is rubbish and my preferred uninjured three would have been Ruthers, Wright, Young.

Holroyd has had a really poor deal from Ricketts, Hughes and Barrow. That he didn't start tonight in a two was bordering on malicious ignorance.

I don't blame anyone in taking a gamble on Oswell and Stockton. There is very little to like about Oswell and Stockton looks spent.

I don't think tonight was terminal but Hughes, Darlington, Jussi and Flynn went down in my estimation.

Saturday will be the key. If we get the same again if Pearson is injured then we we will rapidly drop out of the play off places.

Im hoping that last night will be a wake up call and we are frantically on the phone today to try and get a loan midfielder in who can do the basics i.e pass the ball and move it forward.

Other conclusion from last night is that any chance of the automatic place is gone.
