Do you honestly think you would get a return investing in Wexham Football Club.....erm no , so is it any wonder no one is coming forward.

You are the one being brain washed

I understand you point and agree why would you put money into a club if nothing in return? Well lots do and the reason a lot do is a tax fiddle but we're not talking someone who has won a few million on the lottery.

Having said that you are investing in a football club and getting nothing from your investment, not just you but all of us WST members, all of us season ticket holders and even the casual fan

Simply put we're getting nothing back as investors from our club and I don't just mean winning the league or promotion I'm talking entertainment, when was the last time you could really say you enjoyed the football just at home never mind away?

Football is supposed to be an entertainment but watching Wrexham since the first 4-5 months of Mills reign as been dog rough apart from the odd games like Tranmere last season Salford at home this season and 45 mins against Ebbsfleet where fans were so happy at halftime you would of swore we had just won the league, those games now are as rare as rocking horse droppings.

If you went to the cinema and seen 4 boring bad acted films on the trot you would be reluctant to go again.

And that's how watching Wrexham has become.

So yes we're all investors and getting nothing back year after year from our money which is being frivolously wasted by those in charge with cock up after cock up and never answering or apologising for it just hiding behind their mates and the radicalised sheep.

Nah !!!

I don't blame you I came close to doing it but having a near 50 mile round trip I decided to suffer some more living in cloud cuckoo land hoping second half we could turn it around, with hindsight I wish I had left I've seen better footballers on a Sunday on the park.

Richard did himself no favours with his aggressive questioning at the meet the manager meeting.
To say the WST board were unprepared to act is unfair, they are individuals and 11 accepted that the WAFC board had acted within their remit, so there was nothing that required action.
The WAFC board are not responsible to the owners or the elected body.
What sort if structure is that?

Surely there must also be a conflict of interests as well for anyone involved in both. In some ways it could even be insider information to know the WST stood against something which could then be actioned by WAFC as there are no checks or balances.

An issue as big as the manager wanting out in probably the most critical point of the season surely warranted better management by all.
The WST are portrayed as weak especially the Chairman and others in key positions. Harris should have been brought to task IMO.

The results in Jan and the weakening position now is a result of this fiasco.

£200k wasted

Well if it’s the WST way or no way I’d like the WST to say just that. Not the “we haven’t had anyone interested that were considered genuine” stance as that is an admission that the current model isn’t the way forward. So why the aggression towards any thoughts other than the current model ? This isn’t a bashing of anyone btw, just an observation that there seems to be quite an aggressive stance from some (who I’m sure don’t think their membership or support of the club is more relevant than others) when the question of private ownership is discussed.

Nobody in their right mind is going to invest with the board as it is. Imagine saying ‘here is £5 million Spencer get us out of this league’ He’d probably spend it on painting dragons in the tunnel and the rest on a manegerial merry go round and a spin doctor to say it wasn’t his fault.
