Re: Why are our loan signigns in the main so poor?
We get excited, then disappointed and it appears now we’ve all given up
Me included It’s going to be another year in this Sh1t league - I can see it coming I’m an accountant, and deal in facts - that’s how I’m programmed , some say for the good, others say otherwise Can someone tell me exactly on what we are spending all of the money. The extra gate revenue alone most add up to £££, then there’s the f a cup money , the ward money..... Why can’t we sort matters out and sign some real quality players ? We keep saying that we can’t compete , really, why , we need to understand Like many, I have challenges in my life, following wxm and attending games is somewhat of an escape or stress relief - I thought !! I’m peed off with Tuesdays performance, our budget must dwarf Barrows, they looked like a footballing team, we looked like the vets team that I used to play for It needs sorting out It’s the same year after year BH and BF, need to get a grip and quickly, other teams have a strategy, plan, a game plan, we seem to be headless chickens . Players like Pearson will get peed off and leave I’m so frustrated after Tuesdays inept performance - it was and is totally unacceptable Words escape me , 44 years of supporting and what can I say |

Re: Why are our loan signigns in the main so poor?
loan signings are a little bit of a lottery;- but if the manager and scouts due their homework they SHOULD get it right more times than not.
the difference between Barrow's loan signings and Wrexham's is glaring. Barrow have only had 1 bad loan signing this season and he was sent back to Birmingham after a week. The remainder have all been young players eager to impress, the main ones being;- Tyler Smith (10 goals before Christmas) Norrington Davies (No26 on Tuesday) both from Sheff Utd, Hardcastle (scored the 3rd) captain of Blackburn's U23 side. Dior Angus - the striker with the dyed blonde hair who went off after 20 mins (from Port Vale). Having a manager (Ian Evatt) and assistant (Peter Atherton) with a lot of current contacts in the game as Premier and championship level is very important - no offence to Graham Barrow or the current management team at Wrexham - but they don't seam to have/had current contacts. The final factor is probably you're recent record with young loan signings and how you have developed them. 2 seasons ago Barrow had Ryan Yates from Notts Forest they helped him improve his game a lot and he's currently playing in their 1st team. Last season we had Jimmy Dunne from Burnley - he got a lot of experience and confidence playing with Barrow and is currently on loan at Sunderland after spending the 1st half of the season at Hearts in Scotland. The success with developing them has made teams much more likely to loan Barrow more players - I'm not sure if Wrexham's recent seasons loan signings have improved the same way? |

Re: Why are our loan signigns in the main so poor?
Well, we seem to choose poorly and waste money
Something has to be changed Hopefully the new football mngt team see what we see New rb Midfield x 2 - regular fit starters Strikers x 2 - who know where the net is We have such a big squad, surely reduce it and improve the quality |

Ultimately, it’s down to a limited budget, poor management, and mostly average quality players. Yet, despite all these deficiencies, we still have an opportunity to fight through the POs. But we must start winning, starting on Saturday. Regardless whether we are promoted or not, BH has a rebuild on his hands for next season. My opinion, but bordering on facts!

Re: Why are our loan signigns in the main so poor?
Goals win games
Score two and you can let in one You have to create enough chances to score We seem to lack any creativity, there’s too much hoof ball played to a small isolated striker If we are going to fill the midfield, why are we not dominating it We’ve all got more questions than answers Hoping that the two Brian’s have the answers |
