Re: Why are our loan signigns in the main so poor?
We have to loan players who are either good but are surplus to requirement at their parent club or are from a much higher standard but not good enough for that level ie Championship or Premiership.
It's almost pointless loaning players from League 2 who aren't cracking it at that level, for that is the level we need to get out of this black hole we have been sucked into. Too early to write off McGlashan or that famous boxer, McGuigan!

We are saying we can not afford a decent striker but the wages of stockton and grant will not be cheap, they must be on well over £1300 a week, probably a lot more, |

Re: Why are our loan signigns in the main so poor?
It's the club's money getting wasted
I beg to differ. Its mainly our money from ticket sales, merchandise sales, donations, sponsorships, concession sales and a variety of other income streams that come from the fans. Its mind blowing to see what some people spend in order to follow this club, and then they get rewarded with some of the bang average players that have been brought in on loan. |

Re: Why are our loan signigns in the main so poor?
Is it just us or is it just football at this level? Seems to me most of this league are stacked full of loan signings.
As for players being unfit, why do clubs loan out players, especially mid season, other than to get them fit. |

I just don't think we have any worse record with loan signings as any other team at our level. We've had a mixed bag this year, some good some bad. We've got issues and recruitment is one but I don't think poor loan signings are a problem specific to us. |

Re: Why are our loan signigns in the main so poor?
This, its all about getting good value for money. According to Spencer, Barrow was given £200k to spend in the January window. I'm not certain that it was spent wisely, or if he even spent it at all.
