We might as well just face it as a club we just have a knack of messing it all up, every season same thing. Start well, get to January in a decent position, need to strengthen a little. Fail to do that and then fall away.

Same thing next season fellas

Priority was hiding Barrows position. Talk about taking an eye of the ball.
However Spencer must have been right as after all he is a fan as well.

This. I think it needs to be addressed. January should be about getting in some cover for key players incase of injury etc. January's signings seem to have had a negative impact on the team. Obviously having 3 managers hasn't helped either.

Who knows what to expect next season?

Next season ?

Good start , lots of managers, top scorer with 9 goals, January signings that prove to be flops, and in April 2020 the same board, the same owners and the same people defending the indefensible

Exactly. We are comfortable in this league and every opportunity we have to get out of it, we seem to shy away.

If Tuesday is a benchmark we haven't got that depth. However c'mon Wxm, let's see if others can step up today.

You say stand out team but Fleetwood were only 5 pts better off than Wrexham, since then Luton won the league and they were 19 pts clear of second place.Cheltenham also won the division by about 12 points.Facts not fiction.

We should have a CF thats good enough for 2-3 years minimum. Fondop was never this option. Backup option yes but not main CF.

We have struggled for years not just 1 season.

BH has to sort out CM and CF in the summer thats the priority. Providing Pearson, Lawlor +1 stay as well.
I think Fondop was signed as a longer term prospect, but like others it hasn’t worked out for him. I do think that’s more the Management and coaches fault than it is his. Not played since god knows when and is still top scorer. Not sure where we’d be now if it wasn’t for his goals......

So, looking longer term, can you tell us all now who we should have signed at the start of the season? Or the start of next?

Not the likes of Rooney, who only signed for Salford for the £4.5 grand a week, because it’s not about cash, as you say.

With hindsight Rowe might have been a good shout, but Fylde wouldn’t have sold him to us. Bonne neither., but we couldnt have afforded him, anyway.

Boden and Beck are in the top 10 goalscorers this season, but both were here and both written off as not good enough.

McCallum top scorer and never heard him mentioned as a possibility before the start of the season, or since.
