It’s a good enough read and captivated the mood inside the ground.

Outfought and outthought. In conditions where you [I]keep it simple[/I] we made it difficult before a ball was kicked. We changed formation and gave a lad a debut in place of a seasoned campaigner.

I quite like Akil Wright’s willingness to go beyond Beavon but he lacks so much in a 2 man midfield.

Credit to Yozzer, he did change it to 4-2-3-1 but as I say, Wright is not a holding player. Maybe we were short of options. Maybe.

We needed 3 goals but we never gave ourselves chances. Get the ball in the box. Play the percentage game with the conditions.
