Well at this stage 3 points are better than performance.

We beat them 1-0 at a similar stage last season and it was the last game we won.

It was a dreadful spectacle but tollit's goal was top class.

Incredible this is the best team we’ve seen for 5 years or so.

Maidstone aren't that good. ;)

The game was like having your eyeballs slowly sanded down and dashed with salt.

But it's 3 points and that's all that matters

Dreadful, awful. Use any word you want.

Hopefully we never see Grant again, one of the worst players I have ever seen play for us. He literally does nothing right, ever.

With no Tollitt now I’m not sure we will even score another goal this season.

Rubbish rubbish game and three points

Prefer that than brazil flair and a loss!

Do fear now tollitt has gone though.

Re: Maidstone Reaction

Thought Deverdics didn't play too badly, and it was pretty harsh for him to get hooked so soon after half time. Especially as it was for Grant, who hasn't played well since the turn of the year.

Holroyd didn't really offer much more than any of our other 13 strikers unfortunately, opportunity missed for him I think.

Our midfield is absolutely dire at the moment. Wright needs benching as soon as the likes of Summerfield come back from injury. I still think he's got potential, but when he's low on conference he looks no better than a Sunday league player.

A big step up from Tuesday but it would have been difficult to be any worse.

Most of the game we weren't bad, just uninspired. The goal was class though, can't wait to see that on the highlight, great way to mark off Ben Tollitt's spell, hope he goes on to bigger and better things than Tranmere.

Seem to have lost all ideas as regards any sort of game plan

Still lacking in ability to beat a man and get a cross in, and when we do, there’s no one there to finish it off
Credit to Tollitt with his goal, but not overly impressed.

Some serious head sratching to be done by the two Brian’s

All we can do is continue to scrap in games, but there’s little quality, being honest
