We can’t afford to rest anyone. Did you not notice us scraping past the worst team in the league yesterday?

I think consistency is more important than resting at this stage of the season. We already have the least amount of games to play than other teams so we should be more rested than them anyway.

They started brightly but without us really playing well we forced them back and deservedly won the points. First half Tollitt & Ruthers were ineffective (but combined well for the goal) and a general nervousness meant we didn't play through midfield and for a period let them off by us trying to play too quickly up to Holroyd denying us control of the game.

Salford are not going to go up this year guaranteed. They have good players but majority aren’t really use to this league

If the title is out of reach and we have confirmed at least a third spot finish he may have a valid opinion. Unfortunately I think even confirming third spot may go down to the last game. For me we must play our best starting eleven despite our indifferent form. Six wins out of the remaining seven will probably be enough to take the title

That's a fair point but I believe there are three teams who are better than us (Salford, Fylde, Orient) so I'm expecting to miss out on the top three. Before injuries hit we looked like top three potential but not to me any more.

I think over two legs we can grind out results and, if we're careful with player fitness can win at Wembley.

No we can’t.

We can get drunk there.

But we can’t win the playoffs there.
