Can't run a football club properly. Obviously they're good at off the field stuff, even if I find the whole inclusivity angle a bit too much. But on the pitch we should be doing better then we are. Whole managers situation this season is a shambles

[QUOTE=Lets Av A Riot;2243108]On the contrary...

you moaning because the BOARD signed these players.. and the BOARD decided not to play them ?

i think you misunderstand the concept of a managers job ..its the MANAGERS job to

1. identify players he "thinks" will improve the current playing squad within the budget he is given

2. the manager's job to weight up the fitness, and skill levels of the players at his disposal to choose the best team the MANAGER thinks will win games

3. the manager's job to decide whether the aforementioned player/players is adaptable or plays in a position which suits the MANAGERS formation and tactics

Can blame the board for giving funds to a dinosaur who did not want the job,should never have had the job in the first place ,and made a total mess of it.They appointed Barrow.End of.

Also would Bryan Hughes of got the job if he wouldn't of played for us? Highly doubt it. He's not got a great affinity with the club. Not local, not showed interest in the club since he's left

Obviously, I wish him well....But what exactly was it that convinced the Board (Or is it just Spencer) to give him , not only the job, but a 3 year contract at that..??

They had to do something to avoid answering an shutting the fans up! Bring back and ex player ... then bring Flynn hoping it would hide the mistakes!

It’s a mixture, the off the field decisions are affecting the field. Regardless their poor decisions are this team regardless of what anyone says saying it’s never been ran better off the field.

Poor decisions lost us our league status but poor decisions are keeping us here. Personally i want rid at least a change the current board ie Spencer has been in position too long with the same poor mistakes being made.

Who the hell appoints an inexperienced manager to lose their place in the playoffs, doesn’t learn from it, too then do it again all in the same year ... you can’t make it up!

We all have our favourites - I don’t think that Oswell has had sufficient opportunities to shine. Grant never looks bothered on the pitch and Stockton is too slow (is he fit?). For all the fringe players, the problem is match fitness. With having no reserve team playing regularly in a league, we are shafted. Some of these guys will now be pitched into the Ebbsfleet game and asked to perform miracles. Their best bet to maintain peak fitness, will be getting involved with a Park Run! Pathetic.

Well said I've been banging on about this since our reserves were disbanded, a club without a reserve side is amateurish, even if no reserve league to play in they should be playing friendlies, that's why when players come back from injury or simply not played for weeks/months some expect them to perform from the off & it's the same with our loan signings who have not been getting a game at their clubs.

Everything is set up for here and now, look at young Tharme he looked an excellent prospect when he got his few games now twiddling his thumbs nowhere to play.
