If we took on Grants contract till the end of the season we will be paying something like that,a league one player will not come cheap.

I agree no way is he on the that much, after all he has to fit in within the wage cap. If we were paying that much we wouldn’t have to rely on Paul Rutherford for goals, the money we have wasted this season is astronomical that’s why after the Barrow farce I cancelled my ‘donations’ I am no longer paying for this debacle.

So how much have Wrexham had to pay to keep Pearson as you would think he would be the highest paid player, and the money boys of this division would have loved to signed him on a good contract so we have had to pay the going rate.

If he is top earner its money well spent. I would rather pay 6 or 7 players at least half the budget if we got the same level of performance as Pearson.
Then with 2 loans and a couple of utility players we have the core of the team.

He might be happy on say £900 a week on a long term deal, that’s probably decent money for a centre back in our division yes he may get more at say Fylde or Salford but look at his history he’s clearly not the type to be moving around the country every 12 months.

Its perfectly plausible that is what his league one contract was, however I expect fleetwood to have settled his contract, so we pay him less per week.

Is it not the same in all walks of life, where the shirkers often get paid more than the hard workers and talented ones?

It's all about management isn't it? Like we have in my office though, is the situation where a new boss has inherited the previous manager's appointments......and you just can't get rid of them very easily!!

If this is true its fliping redicoulus situation to have put ourselves in and spent money on.
I suppose it would explain why we also got Stockton in

Every January is the same.
