Really great health and saferty from WCBC and yet another let down by them.
Just imagine a fire and no access, actually no it doesn’t bare thinking about.

Still don’t understand why it’s just not done via compulsory purchase for the good of the club and to prevent further problems from prospective owners.
There seems to be an argument for no further development other than for the club.
No. The Planners can and should condition any approval to insist that proper access is maintained which complies with all health and safety issues regarding access to and egress from the Stadium.
The developer would have to comply.

Anyway, if you think this is not good news:

'Securing the land near the Racecourse is seen as an important component in the advancement of the ‘Wrexham Gateway’ project. A partnership between Welsh Government, Glyndwr University and Wrexham Council, the project’s aim is to regenerate the area of the town centred around Wrexham General Station and the Mold Road corridor.'

Then we will have to agree to disagree.
But we knew being top was temporary, most fans dont care about being in the black they want good players in the team. Ward money might be swallowed by the taxman.

The concept of regeneration is great I agree with you.
The reality of this happening is very unlikely so its not really news its just regurgitated tosh. Maybe you disagree. Another for Hindsight AA to ponder

Whatever the taxman takes, it will still leave over a million pounds in the kitty from the Ward money.
This will greatly enhance future budgets for the next 2 or 3 years.
Our constitution will not allow us to be run at a loss and while a lot of fans want to spend beyond our means in the hope of realising the Holy Grail of league football. we have to be sustainable.
I agree we need good / better players in the team and Hughes' job is to build on his promise to promote youth, at a minimum of back up to a more competitive first 16.

Given who the three partners are with us in this regeneration I won't hold my breath for a favourable outcome.

Would have thought also that Network Rail and Transport For Wales would be included in any plans.
