Augustein
He was with us for a relatively short time...a bit unfit to start with, but after a while began to show that he was special. Proved that if you are good enough to play in the Premiership then it will be noticed in The National League. Head and shoulders above anything we’ve had in living memory, and better than anyone seen in an opposing team. We think you’ve got a gem. His only question mark is fitness and now age. All the signs were he loved his time at Barrow. He was not connected to any club when he signed. Let me tell you what happened.... At the end of his initial contract he was ready to sign again, and everything was sorted. Then his agent (yuck) got involved. He said he wanted to watch Kemy play, and so he (the agent) would require travelling expenses and overnight accommodation. As most of you will know Barrow is relatively isolated.... After significant attempts to get the agent to back off, our management told him to **** off, and the deal fell through. Kemy didn’t play for months. Now you have him....lucky you on the basis of what we saw. If you search via google watch the goal he scored against Salford in front of the BT sport cameras earlier in the year. Good luck with your season.... |

Re: Augustein
Thanks for the insight Barrowblue.
Lets hope he transforms the rest of our season as we had to try something - our midfield has been generally dire. Best wishes for your run in - however I have a sneaking suspicion we will once again be locking horns again next season. |

Re: Augustein
He was the best player on our side at Hartlepool. Able to receive the ball, pause to look for someone free AND in a good position going forward and distribute accordingly . I can see him playing most of all of the matches we have left.

Re: Augustein
I like Augusteins open and honest review of Saturdays performance - hes not pretending to have played to his potential and will look to address matters this weekend.
I did see a proper footballer on Saturday, but probably lacking in fitness / match sharpness. He will get better. The only down side is that now is a difficult time to fit in players who aren't quite 100%, but I would rather have him playing that Davedics, thats for sure !!! and ahead of others - so, will play most games now. |
