He also said he played attacking midfield, then we played him left wing. With no pace. So we payed money for an attacking midfielder that was playing at left back and put him on the wing. Genius.

Was he scouted? He’s played in the same league as us for a fair number of years.

I don’t have the solution. It appears players with decent reputations are coming here and bombing out. This season it’s Bobby Grant. He should be tearing up this league yet he struggles to make our bench because he’s been poor.

I agree, but grant is just another example. He is a more high profile Deverdicks if you like. Plays behind the striker and scores a bag full two leagues up, we play him on the wing! Its absolutely mental.

Why do we destroy good players? Boden being another example.

I appreciate the point about Grant and his preferred position but you’d think he could operate left or right of a striker in a 3.

Yes but scouting gives you a better chance. Then again after watching Grant on loan we still signed him. Now thats a mistake.
