Based on the fact we know there is a player in there somewhere I think he's been hard done by. Played out of position under Keates then bombed without being given a real chance again. I'd play him ahead of Wright for starters.

I've been saying this for awhile players need a run in the side not in one game out the next or short substitute appearances he is a lot better than Wright, although that wouldn't be hard.

Deverdicks is another victim of us not having a reserve team. His natural position is the attach minded one in the midfield three where he played and scored loads for Dover. IN that position he gets the odd few minutes here and there then doesn't play any competitive football for months on end

Then when he got a start against Maidstone at home people were expecting miracles from him. Then he's dropped again when I didn't think he did anything wrong really, probably could have got more of the ball but its clear he needed game time. you can't just throw players in after all those months not playing games and expect them to be amazing straight away.

Not a popular view but Deverdics and Leo Smith are both better passers of the ball than Akil Wright.Ball is a hot potato to Wright and the finishing is disappointing too as illustrated versus Maidenhead, I think,home.

I don't disagree, but Wright is not in the team to pass it. He's in the team to head it.

Ha Ha, you sure?

What I mean is, he is not in the team for his passing, he is in it because he is a big lad to help with set pieces. He will not be dropped for this reason, no matter how bad he is at passing.
