I admire your optimism but there is, sadly, no saving this season. There is not a cat in hell’s chance of this team, under this management, getting promoted.

Recent recruitment points to us not being ready for promotion. If we did somehow get through the playoffs we would almost certainly be straight back down...

I don’t think picking 5 defenders as well as no threat “Ruthers” and the disastrous Wright is the way forward.

If you fancy saving our season, we need to loan a quality midfielder to replace Wright and a quality wideman to replace Rutherford. We are going knowhere otherwise.

Surely we have the money to bring in some real quality from a team that is playing for nothing higher up.
