A possible why
 

Probably a bit early for this but I am interested in why Hughes played the team he did . I know this is going to probably create another flood of abuse but I would be interested to know what people thought without the use of the words 'clueless', 'depth', 'bllicks' or 'footgolf'.

I think Young has played with some credit amongst the chaos but he plays with high energy so perhaps he was rested.

Roberts is maybe considered important to the run-in as our specialist right-back so needs games. We need Carrington as the versatile cover not just rightback.

Carrington is a good passer, perhaps the aim from the back was to have a more quality start to attacks.


The forward line-up was quick, probably the quickest we can manage, and the tactic was to get them running at Ebbsfleet.

I think team selection consists of drawing names out of a hat every week that’s my opinion

Carrington shouldn’t be anywhere near any midfield.

Slightly better than Roberts but going forward both need to be released in May.

Akil Wright plays every game and is the worst footballer I have seen in a wrexham shirt this season. Carrington would be ideal in brad walkers role. Our quality going forward is non-existent.

Cheap, cheap and cheap does not bring success on the field.

Carrington is an okay right back but he is lost in midfield this has been discussed no end of times by many people on this forum

I'm just trying to think to some extent we were set up a bit by Ebbsfleet there , we being above them , they think they can make playoffs , what was refusing to warm up doing as a protest to the owner i don't know , the match went ahead and they won . If they'd have sat on the pitch and refused to play until paid they would have had big press and embarrassed the owner . I know it's nowt to do with our problems but you have to think .

Were you really expecting us to beat them with this lacklustre squad? WOW!

Why? Their 11 men were better than our 11 men in the first half. By a country mile.
We do not create an awful lot, so once we go 2 down, the writings on the wall.
Yozzer quite simply doesn’t know his best eleven and continues to tinker with the starting line ups looking for that magic mix.

I’m also concerned about the players reaction to him. Is there a problem in the dressing room?
