The £26k looks pretty modest in the grand scheme of things. Whatever your views are on agents, pretty much all players have them and they're going to want their cut.

I think half the problem is the lack of regulation. In property you can't really act for buyer and seller but it seems acceptable behaviour in football; if not the norm.
