Just got back to Mold, quite an enjoyable game, apart from poor defending for their goal.
Thought we played reasonably well lots of good movements for each other creating space. Goals taken well by Grant, Pearson Akil.

We can only beat thyteam in front of us , job done, could have had couple more goals, but for clearances of line, excellent save & Holroyd offside.

2 poor teams really. 3 points is the end result but more tinkering from BH and were at the business end. Hopefully we can hang onto 4th or 5th for a home game but our chances are slim to do anything.

Sounded a reasonable performance against a very poor team. Should have secured playoffs now but any title talk is delusional in the extreme. 4 pretty tough games to go just have to get as many points from them as we can, finish strongly and see who we get.

Lawlor injury leaves us very very light at CB, any injury or suspension for Pearson or Kennedy and we are absolutely screwed.

Time for some positivity. Get in the play offs and it is anyone's.. We need a change of luck with illness & injuries and we can have a real go.

Think everyone has lost interest, 4221 today. I didn’t bother going, a win against a team already relegated is a much needed 3 points but in my eyes season is over and that team selection is shocking.

This crap team is 4 points from top of the league. We really screwed up the easiest league title.

Not bringing out the champagne yet, but a step in the right direction, even if we did make a meal of it in the first half

2nd half is the best we've played in a little while. We were against a team who had nothing to fight for and are preparing for life in the NLS but we've got to take positives. A lot of players can say they had a solid game for the first time in a while, Bobby Grant having the best game I've seen him have for a while.

Comfortable 3 points really. Braintree were awful.

Must say Young's delivery today was excellent.

Keeps us in the mix but theres some tough games coming up.

Looking at the table the Bank Holiday Monday could be key with Salford Vs Flyde and Orient Vs Solihull. That game for us against Halifax could be massive if results between now and then go our way.

To be honest anything other than a win would have been unacceptable. We got the win against a very poor side. We'll be in the playoffs,but i can't see us getting to the play off semi finals as we still look like we'll leak goals.

Can’t say it was enjoyable really. Spent 90% of the game wanting to go on the pitch and shake them. You’d swear we were bolt on for 12th, no passion, no desire apart from Pearson for his goal, playing a team of already relegated kids.

Bobby Grant played alright. Weird atmosphere though today among them, BH and Beavon had a barney after our 3rd goal, Oswell and Holroyd had words about the 4th disallowed, Ruthers tore Kennedy a new one for putting the ball out of play needlessly.

I think like most of the fans they’re just going through the motions playing out the season knowing we can’t be champions and have no chance in the play offs.

Young was my MOTM, today; he single-handedly carried our midfield.

Not surprises Oswell has a go at Holroyd, he'd beaten the keeper and looked to be going in the far corner only or Holroyd to stroke it home from and offside position 😂

Made hard work of a team of kids. Play offs should happen now but a quick trip to Orient or Fylde and it will all be over.

Both full backs were 21
Both centre halves 20 !!!

I wouldn’t take heart from today’s performance at all .

Very poor first half but better 2nd. Result again masks performance against a very poor team. Seemed to be lots of finger pointing going on for mistakes and a lack of understanding at times.

Not sure what the hell BH, BF and CD are doing selection wise and a play off spot is just going to paper over big problems IMO.

Agreed the team selection appears random - can't stop feeling Hughes is out of his depth here - hope I'm wrong

It should have been 4-1 if Holroyd had let it roll into the net instead of trying to make sure when he was clearly offside.

With Jennings back I think that's about as good a side and formation as we're going to put out. Like everyone else I don't see the point of Grant. You'd probably get more out of Augustien in that position ,but that's too imaginative.
